They only have one more loop to go, that means DISNEY is tomorrow!! We are all very excited!

Ecotarium Trip

They still have the Zula Patrol weather exhibit here and Ryan had a blast with it. Those are clouds he's making right there.

















This is the train that goes around the complex. We were the only ones riding this morning, it was great!



This is Kenda the polar bear. She's 25 years old. I have to say it was so different being somewhere like this with only one child. Not being pulled in two directions, not too mention Ryan is much more easygoing than Courtney about moving along, leaving, etc.

Southwick Zoo- Preschool Field Trip

These are 2 of her favorite friends from preschool, Eva and Vanessa.

There is even a petting zoo here. We normally don't go to this zoo since it isn't part of Zoo New England where we are members and it's very expensive.


My mom took Courtney on her field trip today since I couldn't bring Ryan with me and when I mentioned having Nana come watch Ryan she asked if she could have Nana go. How could I say no? She loves her Nana! Of course the bus was one of the highlights of the trip.

I was testing the new 8GB memory card I got for Mother's Day for our big trip and took some video and pictures of Ryan. (he just happened to be the one outside with me) Anyway, I had to share since he is so super cute! On Friday we were coming out of Target and he was going on about how the car worked and stuff and then he announced to me 'I'm a genius Mama!'

Mother's Day

Mother's Day was great. I was allowed to sleep late and then woken by lots of kisses and giggles and a bagel with cream cheese and an iced coffee. Courtney had made me a necklace at preschool and Ryan a flower at story time.

We went to the zoo (Franklin Park) for the morning/early afternoon. It was a gorgeous day but LOTS of wind which made it chilly. This is me and the kids with the gorilla mom and baby statue.

The video isn't the greatest, not sure why since normally may camera takes excellent video. I'll have to check out my camera see if a setting is messed up or something. She's #1, always in the mix. She LOVES soccer!

First Fenway Game of 2009!

This is me and my friend Cheryl, 3 year breast cancer survivor and one of the many reasons why I relay! We got a little wet last night but had a blast and the Sox won 13-3!

9 Days till Disney!!!

The kids got postcards from Disney today, Courtney from Minnie and Mickey and Ryan from Goofy. They are over the moon excited about this trip. I can't wait!

Happy Trails!

Today was our first Happy Trails session, a group where we walk a local trail (this one is a local rail trail, so an unused railroad track that has been paved over with ares with benches etc. where you can walk and ride bikes) and do some sort of craft. As you can see it was raining so the craft didn't happen outside. We took our collections home but we also took spiders home and the kids freaked out so no craft. Oh well, maybe they will look before they pick next time! Weird setting on my camera is the reason for the funy colors. Oh, and Ryan kept a pull-up dry that i had put on him figuring we'd be gone for a while and not sure if he'd pee outside. Yay Ryan!
